Paul K. "Dappy" "Koz" Egersheim, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Saturday, December 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving wife, Susanne, his daughter, Kirsten and her husband Eliot, after a lengthy battle with multiple myeloma. He was the husband of Susanne (Chalmers) Egersheim for 51 years. The son of the late Edward A. Egersheim, and the oldest of 6 siblings, he was born in Boston and raised in Roxbury. Dappy was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, Class of 1958 and Boston University, Class of 1971. He was an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a resident of Stoughton for the past 48 years. Mr. Egersheim was a vice president for Charles River Data Systems in Natick for many years before retiring in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, computers and traveling.
In addition to his wife, Dappy is survived by his children, PK Egersheim of Milton and Kirsten Wyzanski of Walpole and his five granddaughters Rachel, Joy, Alana, Addison and Victoria. Also, his fishing buddy and nephew Stephen M. Nyhan of Quincy, his thoughtful and invaluable niece Marie P. Nyhan of West Bridgewater and his intellectual collaborator and niece Dayna J Browne, Esq. of Arlington, VA.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Mary's Church, Randolph on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment will be private. Donations in Dappy's memory may be made to the Fisher House Boston, PO Box 230, S. Walpole, MA 02071, to benefit ill veteran's families.
