Paul A. Demusz

Paul A. Demusz (Moose) age 83, of Stoughton, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on November 10, 2023. He was the devoted husband to Marilyn (Piontkowski) Demusz for 63 loving years. He was the son of the late Valeria (Kozaczka) and John Demusz. He was a graduate of Don Bosco Technical High School, Class of 1958. He was a lifetime member of Boston Carpenters Local 33, and in 1972, started his own successful general contracting business, “Paul A. Demusz, Inc.” He was an avid fisherman and a Charter Member of Stan Gibbs Cape Cod Canal Fisherman’s Classic Club. He was extremely proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to his beloved wife, Paul is survived by his children Paul T. Demusz and his longtime companion Marie Cooper, Lisa Porter and her husband Steven, and Kristin LaPorte and her husband Kirk. He was the proud grandfather, “Dja Dju” to Ryan Porter, Tyler Porter and his wife Christine Cruz, Christopher and his wife Melissa Porter, Justin LaPorte and Jennifer LaPorte. He was the proud great-grandfather, “The Great One” to Valentina Porter. He is also survived by his brother John Demusz, and was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Demusz, and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
