Paul T. Binns

Paul T. Binns, 63, a resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at the home where he lived all his life on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 after a brief illness. Son of the late Robert J. and Ladora A. (Cruickshank) Binns, he was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1979. Paul was diagnosed with a mental illness at a young age and lived a quiet life, mostly keeping to himself. He had no real career but had a job in his early 20’s working for an insurance company until his illness worsened. Since then, he lived in a family home which his parents thoughtfully left so that he would have a place to live. He enjoyed listening to music, eating and watching occasional sporting events.

Paul is survived by his brothers, Robert J. Binns Jr. and his wife Judith of Sharon, James A. Binns of Ashburnham and Daniel M. Binns of Stoughton. He is also survived by his nephews, Justin, D.J. and Evan Binns and his nieces, Rebecca and Dara Binns.

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 9 from 10-11:30 AM followed by Funeral Prayers at 11:30 AM.
