Patrick A. Rafalko, 54, a resident of Easton, died peacefully at home on Thursday, September 15. Son of the late Edward P. and Rose A. (McDonald) Rafalko, he was born in Brockton and raised in Stoughton. He was a graduate of St. Mary's School in Stoughton and Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1975. He was a resident of Easton for 6 years. Mr. Rafalko was a chef for 40 years, working at the VA Medical Center in Brockton and then Sodexo for several years before retiring 8 years ago. He also worked as a machinist at Draper Bros. in Canton for several years. He was an active member at various parishes, especially Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. An avid Boston sports fan, he loved flowers and his cats.
Mr. Rafalko was the brother of Joseph E. Rafalko, Donna M. Camara and Annette Vieira all of Stoughton and the late Mary Elizabeth Rafalko. He is also survived by his dear friend, Scott Fearing of Easton and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, September 19 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Patrick's memory may be sent to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
