Patrick J. Penney

Patrick J. Penney, 55, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after being stricken ill at home. He was the husband of 18 years of Carla M. (O'Connor) Penney of Stoughton. Born in Weymouth, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Penney was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He worked as a mechanic and as a warehouse worker at Lotus Software for several years before health issues lead to his retirement. Pat was always happy and enjoyed good food, boating, camping and motorcycles.

In addition to his wife, Patrick is survived by his mother, Violet G. (Noseworthy) Penney of Stoughton, his stepson, Shane M. O'Connor of Franklin and his siblings, Susanne Ostroff and Charles R. Penney, Jr. both of Stoughton and Arthur P. Penney of Taunton. He was predeceased by his father, Charles R. Penney and his brother, Richard A. Penney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews with whom he kept in constant contact. He will be sadly missed by all.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St, (Rte 27) Stoughton on Monday at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours omitted.
