Patrick A. LaCivita

Patrick A. LaCivita, 50, died Saturday, September 28, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born and raised in Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School and also attended Massasoit Community College. While in High School, he was an excellent athlete and was a 1000 point scorer for Stoughton High Schools Basketball Team. Son of the late Michael and Margaret M. (Hickey) LaCivita, he was a resident of Stoughton for many years before moving to Quincy 5 years ago. Mr. LaCivita worked as a Floor Coverer for several years. He was an avid sports fan of the Boston Sports teams.

He is survived by his children; Jessica M. LaCivita and her fiancé Eddie Rodrigues, Gina M. LaCivita and her fiancé Brian Maltby and Anthony P. LaCivita and his wife Sandy all of Stoughton. He was the grandfather of Jack Maltby, Jameson LaCivita and Michael LaCivita. He was the companion of Debora Brancaccio of Quincy and is also survived by his former wife Patty LaCivita of Norfolk. Mr. LaCivita was the brother of the late Michael, Francis, Lynnette and Kevin LaCivita. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday night, October 2, at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 4-7 PM. Donations in Patrick's memory may be made to Fr. Bill's Place, 422 Washington St., Quincy, MA 02169.
