Patricia J. (Drohan) Pratt, 82, died Monday, December 12, 2016, at the home of her daughter in Falmouth after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Donald Pratt. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Milton and was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Roxbury. She continued her education and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Boston University and her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Boston State College. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years and spent many summers in Falmouth. Mrs. Pratt worked as a Cashier at Stop & Shop in Stoughton for many years, retiring several years ago. Prior to that she was a dedicated homemaker and also worked as a Teacher at Braintree South Junior High School for several years. She was a member of the Notre Dame Academy Alumni Association and the Boston University Alumni Association. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time at the beach.
Mrs. Pratt was the mother of Walter A. Pratt of Quincy and Susan J. Pratt of Falmouth. She was the grandmother of Nolan Gallello and William K. Pratt. Pat was the sister of Nancy Kidder of Sherborn and the late Jane Suleski and Barbara Frankenburger. She was the aunt of Ann Doherty, Peter Collins, Chip Collins and the late Neil Collins.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 14, from 5-7 PM. Private Funeral Services will be held. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
