Patricia (Farrell) Kirkpatrick, 85, a longtime resident of Brockton, died at the Emmanuel House in Brockton on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late James P. Kirkpatrick. Born in Boston, she was raised in Roslindale and graduated from Roslindale High School. She was a resident of Stoughton for 28 years before moving to Brockton in 1990. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a tutor for Stoughton schools for 13 years then worked as a timekeeper and clerk for Eastern Edison for 10 years before retiring in 1995. She was a former member of the Striar Community Center in Stoughton and enjoyed traveling and walking.
Patricia was the mother of Stephen P. Kirkpatrick of Stoughton, Brian J. Kirkpatrick of Holbrook, Kathleen A. Wing of Lakeville and the late Kevin M. Kirkpatrick. She was the grandmother of James, Shaun, Justin, Crystal and Michelle. She was the sister of the late Roberta Zappala and Leona Hilland and the longtime domestic partner of the late Thomas Nickerson. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, October 22 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
