Patricia A. Kavka

Patricia A. (Cogswell) Kavka, 72, died Monday, September 28, 2015, at the Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Easton after a long illness. Born in Stoughton, she was raised in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Kavka was a resident of Easton for over 45 years and raised her family in Easton. She worked as a cashier and as the Deli Manager for Tedeschi's in Easton for over 20 years, before retiring due to her illness 8 years ago. Several years ago, she was a Recess Aide at the Easton Middle School and enjoyed volunteering for the Easton Little League and at the Sheep Pasture in Easton. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling to Foxwoods, exercising and surfing the internet.

Mrs. Kavka was the beloved mother of Joseph E. Kavka and his wife Karen of Andover and Karl P. Kavka of Easton. She was the sister of the late Richard Cogswell. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Katelyn and Patrick Kavka.

Funeral Prayers will be offered on Friday Evening at 7 PM at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton. Visiting hours will be prior to the prayers from 4-7 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Tedy's Team, c/o American Stroke Assn, 300 Fifth Ave, Suite 6, Waltham, 02451.
