Patricia Ann (Looney) Campbell, 72, died at home in Stoughton on Saturday, June 16 after a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of the late John R. Campbell. The daughter of the late Daniel J. and Mary L. (Clancy) Looney, she was born in Cambridge, graduated from Mt. Trinity High School in Belmont and attended Northeastern University. She was a resident of Stoughton for 40 years after growing up in Cambridge. Mrs. Campbell was the Business Office Manager at Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton for 21 years before retiring last year. She previously was the Librarian at Stoughton Junior High School from 1977-1982 and was a crossing guard for several years before that. She was also a computer programmer at Raytheon many years ago. Mrs. Campbell was a former Chairperson for Stoughton Council on Aging and a Stoughton Town Meeting Representative for many years. Loved by all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved sports, especially the Red Sox.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her children, Carolyn J. Campbell of Stoughton, John D. Campbell of Sandwich and Robert J. Campbell of Easton as well as her siblings, Marian Frazier of Amherst and Richard Looney of Hyannis, formerly of Cambridge. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Ray-Hayes. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, June 20 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Patricia's name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, ATTN: Esophageal Cancer, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
