Pasquale V. "Pat" Pascarelli, 86, died Wednesday, September 22 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the Beloved Husband of 64 years of Philomena A. (Veneto) Pascarelli. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in the North End of Boston and a graduate of Boston Schools. Mr. Pascarelli was a World War II Veteran of the US Army. He was a resident of Stoughton since 1963. Mr. Pascarelli worked as a mechanic for Amtrak in Boston for over 25 years, retiring at age 65. He was a member of the VFW in Stoughton. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Pascarelli is survived by his children; Donna Bonanno, Pamela Napolitano and her husband Vincent all of Raynham, Ralph Pascarelli (Ret. Amtrak) and his wife Cheryl of S. Boston, Joseph Pascarelli (Stoughton PD Ret.) and his wife Tracy, Patricia Shea and her husband Thomas, Paula Cleary, Ann Marie Leonard and her husband Chuck and Anthony Pascarelli (Stoughton PD) and his wife Caryn all of Stoughton. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette Pascarelli. He was the brother of Lena Bianco and her husband Frank of Walpole and is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, September 27 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Dr., Natick, MA 01760.
