Orisa (Ben-David) Amador

Orisa B. (Ben-David) Amador, 92, died Monday, August 13, 2012, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Dionisio Amador. Born in Cape Verde, she was raised in Cape Verde and Portugal. She came to the United States in 1969 and settled in the Boston Area. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1983. Mrs. Amador was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons Albertino B. Amador and Joseph B. Amador both of Stoughton. She was predeceased by her son Joaquim Amador and her two brothers Hildebert Ben-David and Tino Ben-David. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 16 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
