Olive E. (Sullivan) Theriault, 87, a lifelong Stoughton resident, died at home on Monday, January 2 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Norman J. Theriault. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of St. Mary's School and Stoughton High School, Class of 1936. Mrs. Theriault was a Teacher Aide at Edith Ambrose Nursery School in Stoughton for many years before retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Mass. Catholic Women's Guild, the Century Players and the choir at Immaculate Conception Church. Mrs. Theriault was a volunteer at several area hospitals. In her free time she loved to bake desserts and loved sports, especially watching the Red Sox.
Mrs. Theriault is survived by her children, Janice M. McMurdy of FL, James E. Theriault of Avon, Denise F. Peterson of Stoughton, Mark N. Theriault and Scott R. Theriault both of CA and Michelle C. Pimentel of Dennisport, as well as her brother, Edward Sullivan of Stoughton. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
