Norrine J. (Walsh) Hardiman, 83, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 15, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Hardiman. Daughter of the late John I. and Mary (Quirk) Walsh, she was born in Boston and raised in Roxbury and Roslindale. She was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, Class of 1959. Norrine was a resident of Stoughton since 1971. She was a homemaker. She was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed trips to casinos but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Norrine was the mother of Laura M. Bushlow and her husband Daniel, Jennifer M. Hardiman and Kelly A. Gillis and her husband Jeremy all of Stoughton and Robert F. Hardiman, Jr. and his late wife Mary Josephine Ryan-Hardiman of Easton. She was the grandmother of Brittany Bushlow, Haley Bushlow, Jacob Gillis and Connor Gillis. She was the sister of James Walsh of Falmouth and the late Mary Walsh, John Walsh, Thomas Walsh, Patricia Peter, Joseph Walsh and David Walsh. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and best friend Margot Hardiman of Westwood and her sister-in-law Roberta “Cis” Walsh of Stoughton as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, July 19 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norrine‘s memory may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215 (https://www.joslin.org).
