Norma L. (Iacovelli) Marian, 97, died peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Pond Home in Wrentham, where she lived and was lovingly cared for, the past 4 years. She was the wife of the late George J. Marian. Norma was the daughter of the late Luigi and Margaret (Collantonio) Iacovelli, she was born and raised in Milford and graduated from Milford High School. Norma resided in Brockton for over 50 years before moving to the Pond Home. Norma was a consummate homemaker and enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, cooking, sewing, reading and music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Norma was the mother of Roy P. Marian and his wife Anne of Mansfield, Steven P. Marian and his wife Janet of Wrentham, and the late Linda Pratt survived by her husband Joel of Canton. She was the grandmother of Christy, Amy, Matthew and Lynn and the great-grandmother of Luke, Matthew, Patrick, Bella, Casey, Carly, Cole, Joseph and Mattea. She was the sister of Louis Iacovelli and his wife Lois of Milford.
Visiting hours will be from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 20th at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, with prayers offered at 1 PM at Farley, followed by a short service at Knollwood Memorial Park Chapel, Canton.
Norma's family extends their heart-felt gratitude to the Pond Home staff and Hope Health staff for their loving care, compassion and companionship.
