Norberta G. (Ferreira) Santos

Noberta G. Santos, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Jose Mendonca Santos for 54 years, until his death on November 16, 2011 at 81 years of age. Born on April 17, 1934 in Caveira, Flores, Acores, She was the daughter of the late Joao and Olivia Ferreira Garcia. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Santos worked for 30 years at Analog Devices in Westwood MA, retiring at age 65. She was a devoted member of the Holy Ghost Society of Acores in Stoughton. An avid fan of the New England Patriots, in her free time she enjoyed watching TV and talking on phone with her friends and family.

Mrs. Santos was the caring mother of two daughters Maria Norberta Libby and her husband Bruce of Augusta, ME and Maria Olivia Bergantim of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Shauna Silver and her husband James of Weare, NH. She is predeceased in death by two brothers Joao and Francisco Garcia, and her nephew Cesar Garcia. She is survived by six siblings and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
