Nicole L. (Gosset) Maioli, 86, of North Easton, formerly of West Barnstable and a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Boston Medical Center on Thursday, May 26, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis E. Maioli, who passed away 4 months ago. Born in Saint-Aubin-en-Bray, France, she was raised and educated in Beauvais, France. She met her husband Francis on the SS United States as she was returning from a vacation in the United States. They married after corresponding for a year and she moved to Dorchester at age 24. Nicole was a homemaker to her family. She served as a Stoughton Town Meeting Representative for many years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, crocheting, cooking, bird watching, crafts and stained glass. Nonni was beloved by her grandchildren and grandpups Porter, Anna and Louis. She always was happiest surrounded by family. She was an avid Boston Bruins and international soccer fan. Sundays during football season was reserved for her "game" as she watched the Patriots. She never lost her french accent, her smile or her interest in the weather despite challenging medical complications for the latter years of her life.

Mrs. Maioli is survived by her two daughters; Nadine M. Bradshaw and her husband Douglas W. Bradshaw of Raynham and Corinne N. Maioli and her husband Patrick J. Noonan III of Easton. She was the grandmother of Kyle D. Bradshaw and his wife Erica, Ryanne Sanderson and her husband Robert, Meredith Goldberg and her husband Craig and Liam Noonan. She was the great-grandmother of Madison Goldberg and Riley Sanderson.
She was the sister in law of Marie Melchin of Canton and the aunt of Robert Melchin of Canton, David Melchin of Stoughton and Laurie Stables of Attleboro.

Charitable Donations in her memory may be made to the Brockton Visiting Nurse Association, Development Office, 500 Belmont St., Suite 200, Brockton, MA 02301. Private family services will be held.
