Neil S. Ali, 48, raised Stoughton and a longtime resident of Wrentham, died Friday, December 28, 2018. He was the husband of Mary Jo (Odabashian) Ali for 17 years. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Ali was a Veteran of the US Army, serving time in Iraq and Germany. Upon his Honorable Discharge, he began working for the Re-Bath division of Home Depot as a sales manager. Neil was a member of the Westwood Masonic Lodge and was an active Boy Scouts leader. Neil loved spending time at his mom's pool and enjoyed trips to Vermont to visit his longtime friend George Halatsis. He was also an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time with his many friends, but above all he loved spending time with his three children.

In addition to his wife Mary Jo, Neil is survived by his three children: Courtney, Jared and Olivia. He was the son of Ann R. (Kanhai) Ali of Stoughton and the late Rasul P. Ali. He was the brother of Natasha Ali of Michigan. He is also survived by his niece and two nephews: Jillian Odabashian and Logan Odabashian of Woburn and Jason Bello of Las Vegas. Neil is also survived by his mother and father-in-law; Jerry and Rose Odabashian of Dedham, his brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Jennifer Odabashian of Woburn, his aunt and uncle Antoinette and David White of Attleboro and his cousins Alexandra, Caelin and Braedon.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, January 4 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Neil's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202 or Boy Scouts of America.
