Natalia (Nunes) Silva, 78, a resident of Taunton, died peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Daughter of the late Joaquin and Maria (Braz) Nunes, she was born and raised in Corvo, Azores, Portugal. She resided in Terceira, Azores, Portugal for many years before moving to Stoughton in 1970. She resided in Taunton for the past 27 years. Natalia was a homemaker to her family and also worked at Analog Devices for over 10 years. She enjoyed crocheting and raising her grandchildren.
Natalia is survived by her daughters, Connie Silva Teixeira and her husband John of Taunton and Filomena M. Faria and her husband Leonel of East Taunton, as well as her grandchildren, Meghan L. Faria, Kimberley Teixeira Viveros and her husband Brett, Shana M. Faria and Victoria A. Teixeira. She was the sister of Maria Luisa Jesus of California and is also survived by a niece and nephew.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, June 1 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
