Nancy (Irving) Meagher

Nancy (Irving) Meagher, 81, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Born in Boston, she was raised in Roslindale and Stoughton and attended Stoughton High School. A longtime resident of Stoughton, Nancy worked for Polaroid Corp. for many years in both Norwood and Waltham retiring more than fifteen years ago. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping, spending time at the beach and on Cape Cod, watching the Patriots and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Nancy was the mother of Cynthia L. Fitzgerald and her husband the late Robert of East Bridgewater, Richard J. Meagher and his wife Elaine and Karen L. Meagher and her husband William Smith all of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Lauren Costa and her husband Ryan, Bailey Wade and her husband Nicholas and Michael Meagher. Nancy was the great grandmother of Ella and Robert Jeffrey Costa. She was the sister of Thelma Barker of Hanover and Robert Irving of TX.

Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, December 11, at 12 Noon. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 10AM-12PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
