Monica F. Boyle, 69, died unexpectedly at home in Stoughton on Sunday, December 31. She was the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Florence I. (MacKinnon) Boyle. Born in Boston, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School, Class of 1951 in Stoughton and Arch-Bishop Williams High School, Class of 1955 in Braintree. Miss Boyle was a secretary with the Social Security Administration in Boston for 36 years before retiring 2 years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Miss Boyle is survived by her brother, Frederick W. Boyle of Stoughton. She was the aunt of Luanne M. Lamontagne and her husband Chris of Dracut, Frederick D. Boyle and his wife Maria of Stoughton and the late Kathryn L. Boyle. She was the sister-in-law of the late Helen L. (Nelson) Boyle. She is also survived by 6 great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, January 5 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
