Mona C. Ramsdell

Mona C. (Holmes) Ramsdell, 83, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was the wife of the late Lloyd H. Ramsdell, Jr. Born in Boston, she graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School for Girls. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 30 years. Mrs. Ramsdell was a bookkeeper for John Hancock Life Insurance Company for 20 years before retiring over 20 years ago. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, reading, traveling, playing cards, outings with the Stoughton Seniors and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Ramsdell is survived by her children, Lynn K. Struck, Mark K. Ramsdell and Steven W. Ramsdell all of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Billy, Mark, Karen, Steven, Jr., Sarah, Lydia and Luke and the great-grandmother of Haley, Alexandra, Cathryn, Ryan, Owen and Joselyn. She was the sister of Arnold "Reggie" Holmes of Las Vegas, NV and Alice Rich of Billerica. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, May 23 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery, donations in Mona's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
