Mildred M. (Roberts) Moclaire

Mildred M. (Roberts) Moclaire, 88, died Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the John Adams Healthcare Center in Quincy after a short battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late William P. Moclaire. Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, she was raised and educated in New Jersey. Mrs. Moclaire was a resident of Ridgewood, NJ for over 60 years and moved to Braintree about 6 years ago. While living in New Jersey, she was very active and ran the Widow and Widowers Club of Northern Valley for several years. She was a member of the Red Hat Club of Braintree and the Braintree Council of Aging. She was a devoted and beloved grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen P. Scales. She is survived by her son in law Richard L. Scales of Milton, formerly of Westwood, and her beloved grandchildren, Richard M. Scales of Braintree, William D. Scales of Jamaica Plain, Kathleen M. Scales of Boston, Sarah E. Scales of Milton, Ryan R. Scales, Kerri L. Scales and James W. Scales all of NY and Margaret J. Scales of Washington DC. She was the aunt of Teresa Florio and Anthony Florio of NJ and is also survived by her great grandson Sean T. Scales.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, October 22 at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday, October 21, from 1-4 PM. Donations in Millie's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
