Mildred K. (McDonough) Haddad, 59, died Thursday at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham after a battle with cancer. Born in Boston, she was raised in Boston and a graduate of South Boston Schools. She was a resident of Quincy for many years, and was formerly of Bridgewater. Mrs. Haddad worked at the Salvation Army in Bridgewater for several years and was an Assistant Manager. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 21 years. In her free time, Millie enjoyed helping others both spiritually and with recovery.
She is survived by her children: Paul A. Haddad and Stephen E. Haddad both of Abington formerly of Quincy, Cheryl A of Stoughton and the late Mary Haddad Davis. She was the sister of Marion Pizzi of FL, Virginia Prior of MT and the late George McDonough, Edward McDonough and Edna Bagwell. Millie is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, October 2 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 8:30-10:30 AM. Donations in Millie's name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to the Salvation Army, 6 Baxter St, Quincy, 02169. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
