Mildred E. (Flynn) Gosselin, 75, died at the Hancock Park Nursing Home in Quincy on Sunday, September 30. She was the wife of the late Raymond Gosselin and Robert McCartney. Daughter of the late John A. and Alice (Turgeon) Flynn, she was born and educated in Winthrop. She was a resident of Stoughton for 24 years before moving to Middleboro 6 years ago. Mrs. Gosselin was a technician for the Foxboro Company for over 20 years before retiring 10 years ago. She was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Middleboro.

Mrs. Gosselin is survived by her children, Linda McCartney Sugden and her husband Jack of Carver, Garrett McCartney and his wife Deborah of Taunton and Deborah McCartney Jenkins and her husband Ronald of Whitman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie McCartney Walker. She was the mother-in-law of Christopher Walker. She was the grandmother of Mandy, Taylor, Lauren, Jared, Jason, John and Jesse. She was the sister of Aline Sullivan of Cambridge, John Flynn, Jr. of Santo Domingo, William Flynn of MD, Thomas Flynn of NH and Richard Flynn of NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 4 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Mildred's name may be made to American Diabetes Assn., PO Box 31160, Hartford, CT 06150 or Hancock Park Activities Fund, 164 Parkingway, Quincy, MA 02169.
