Mildred A. Bobigian, 81, died Monday, April 2, at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro after a courageous battle with life.
Born in Macon, GA, she was raised there and a graduate of Macon Schools. Mrs. Bobigian was a resident of Attleboro for 15 years. Prior to that, she was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years. She was a member of Sharon Country Club for over 40 years. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening and playing cards.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Bobigian and his wife Pamela of AZ, Richard Bobigian and his wife Janez of TX, Edward Bobigian and his wife Valerie of VA and Susan Forrester and her husband Dennis of Attleboro. She was the sister of the late Buddy Welch, James Welch, Hazel Burns and Nell Lindsey. Mrs. Bobigian was the sister in law of Dot Bobigan of CT and Barbara Welch of NC. Millie is survived by her friends Mark and Janet and the fine staff at Christopher Heights who made Mildred's last 6 years enjoyable and gave her independence. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, April 7 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 9-10 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Christopher Heights in Attleboro on April 16, 2007 at 1:30 PM. Donations in Millie's name may be made to Jimmy Fund, 1 Harvard St., Brookline MA 02146 . Burial will be private.
