Miguel Rosa

Miguel D. Rosa, 59, died Sunday, September 12, 2010 at home after a long battle with cancer. Born in Cape Verde, he came to the US at age 16 and settled in Dorchester. He was a resident of New Bedford for over 10 years, previously living in Dartmouth. He worked as a supervisor at Quaker Fabric in Fall River for many years.
He was the father of Dante M. Rosa of Whitman and Jordan A. Rosa of Dartmouth. He was the son of Maria (Socorro) Rosa of Stoughton and the late Antonio S. Rosa. He was the brother of Ernestine D. Anahory and Albert D. Rosa both of Stoughton and Alfredo J. Rosa of Avon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, September 15, at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM.
