Michelle T. (Harding) Loonie, 46, died peacefully at home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard C. Loonie. Born in Boston, she was raised in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. She was a resident of Stoughton for the past 13 years. Michelle was a homemaker. She enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and living life to the fullest.
In addition to her husband, Michelle is survived by her children, Tyler P. Loonie, Mickaela T. Loonie and Mariah A. Loonie all of Stoughton. She was the daughter of Madeline (Steele) McCarthy of Quincy and the late Jack Doren. She was the sister of Russell Harding of Hull, Michael Harding of Abington, Glen Harding of Berkley, James Harding of E. Taunton, Stanley Harding of Quincy, Cheryl Chobainian of Randolph and the late Richard and John Harding. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, March 6 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michelle's memory may be made to the Loonie Family Fund, PO Box 93, Stoughton, MA 02072.
