Michael J. Phillips

Michael J. Phillips, 27, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 16 at his parent's home in Stoughton. A lifelong resident of Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1997. He was an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Operator with the Local 4 in Canton for 2 years.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his son, Collin M. Phillips of Wareham; his parents Kenneth M. and Ellen F. (Salett) Phillips of Stoughton; his sister, Amanda L. Phillips and her boyfriend Sean T. Gallagher of Stoughton; his girlfriend, Holly A. Tetrault of Wareham; his grandparents, Kathleen A. (Corcoran) Phillips of Stoughton, Kenneth F. Phillips, retired Stoughton PD and his wife Margo of FL and Arthur and Roberta Salett of FL; his nephew, Kyle M. Gallagher of Stoughton and his aunt, Linda C. Phillips and her son Justin of Stoughton. He is also survived by several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, September 21 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Michael's name may be made to the Collin M.
