Michael J. Mullins

Michael J. Mullins, 75, died unexpectedly, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Boston Medical Center. He was the husband of 38 years of Mary Ann (Kmiotek) Mullins. Born in Natick, he was raised and educated in Dorchester and was a longtime resident of Dorchester. He moved to Quincy 18 years ago. Mr. Mullins worked as a Courier at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for over 15 years, retiring 4 months ago. He loved the fire department and enjoyed chasing fires as a "Spark". He also helped with the fire patrol and boarding up properties damaged by fire. In his free time, he enjoyed watching television and, above all, spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters; Helena Mullins of RI and Cheryl Pitrone of NH. He was predeceased by his sister Carol Mullins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held. Donations in Michael's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
