Michael C. McCloud

Michael C. McCloud, 49, died unexpectedly Friday, December 9, 2016. He was the son of the late Edward F. and Joan A. (Barrus) McCloud. Born and raised in Stoughton, he attended Stoughton and Canton Schools and was a graduate of Blue Hill Regional Technical High School in Canton, Class of 1985. Michael was a resident of South Boston for the past several years. He worked in the construction field for his father in his younger years with Linden and Sequioa Construction continuing later in life with local construction companies. He loved the Bruins and Patriots and in his free time, he enjoyed watching sports, spending time with his Aunt. He had a gift in making people smile and laugh. He loved his adopted home of Southie, it's history, it's culture and he made his home there.

Michael was the nephew of Marilyn Johnson of South Boston. He was the brother of Edward McCloud and Stephen McCloud of Canton, Mark McCloud and Matthew McCloud both of West Bridgewater, Joseph McCloud of Berkley and Marilyn Hart of Middleboro. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, December 16, at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Donations in Michael's memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
