Michael S. Hampe, 36, died unexpectedly in Canton Friday, August 3. He was the son of Jane F. (Sheehan) Hampe of Stoughton and the late Carl G. Hampe. Born in Norwood, he was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Hampe also attended Mass College of Art. He worked as a Machinist at Whiting and Davis in Attleboro for over 2 years. Mr. Hampe was a survivor of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his mother Jane, he is survived by his siblings, Mark S. Hampe of Stoughton, Linda J. Hampe of New Bedford, Karen A. Colleran of N. Attleboro and his twin brother Matthew J. Hampe of Stoughton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 9 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial will be private.
