Michael R. Grigas

Michael R. Grigas, 71, a former resident of Stoughton and West Bridgewater, died July 7, 2016 in FL. He was the husband of 45 years of Donna I. Grigas of N. Ft. Myers, FL. Raised and educated in Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1962. He was a longtime resident of West Bridgewater before retiring to Florida over 25 years ago. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Grigas worked as a Corrections Officer for the Massachusetts Department of Correction at MCI Norfolk and retired with the rank of Lieutenant. He was a member of the American Legion Post 89 in Stoughton, the Elks in Woburn and the AMVETS in Florida. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling to casinos and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers; William Grigas of Bridgewater and Peter Grigas and Alan Grigas both of FL.
