Michael J. Gleason

Michael J. Gleason, 57, a resident of Gloucester, passed away suddenly in his sleep at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He was the son of Mary Joan (Shedd) Gleason of Vineyard Haven and the late Richard J. Gleason. He was born in Brockton and raised in Stoughton. Mike was a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School, Class of 1984, and Southeastern Massachusetts University. He resided in Gloucester for the past 5 years. Mike loved working out and won several bodybuilding competitions over the years. He was a personal trainer for many years and worked out at the YMCA in Gloucester. He previously worked for the Stoughton Department of Public Works.

In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his siblings, Kristine M. Hudzik and her husband Greg of Southbridge, Jonathan P. Gleason and his fiancé Gillian O’Callaghan of Vineyard Haven and Katherine M. Sardino and her husband Nick of Hyde Park, NY. He is also survived by a nephew and several nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
