Michael A. Andrews, 57, a former longtime resident of Stoughton, died at his daughter's home in Parrish, Florida on Sunday, March 23, 2014 after his second battle with cancer. He was born in Brockton, raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1974. Michael was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years before moving to Brandon, Florida 12 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Michael worked in the computer field for the past 12 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Laura J. O'Connell and her husband Sean of Parrish, FL, as well as his grandchildren, Aubrey and Jack O'Connell. He was the son of Armand "Monty" Andrews of West Bridgewater and the late Florence "Bebe" (Frietas) Andrews. He was the brother of Daniel J. Andrews and his wife Kathy of Stoughton, Bonnie Lynn Marshall and her husband Robby of Berkley and the late Scott A. Andrews. He is also survived by his nephew, Dana Andrews and his niece, Michele Whitman.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Friday, April 4 at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
