Melinda Elias "Mindy" Mullen

Melinda R. Elias-Mullen, 57, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in Marshfield after a car accident. She was the beloved wife of David A. Mullen of Stoughton. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Kenneth and Rosemarie (Ferreira) Elias, she was raised and educated in Brockton and was a 1983 graduate of Brockton High School. Melinda, known as Mindy to friends, was a resident of Stoughton for over 35 years. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother who cherished her time with her family and her cherished cat Columbo. 

In addition to her husband David, Mindy is survived by her son Benjamin D. Mullen of Stoughton. She was the sister of Roxanne Pulsifer and Michael Elias, both of Brockton, Kenneth “Buddy” Elias, Rachel Elias and Rebecca Elias, all of Stoughton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner St., Stoughton, on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Melinda’s memory may be made to MSPCA/Angell Animal Medical Center, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
