Matthew T. McNulty, 68, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 unexpectedly at his home in Stoughton. Born and raised in Ballynahown, Co. Galway, Ireland, he moved to the US in 1971 and settled in the Boston area. He was a resident of Stoughton for over 25 years, previously living in Readville for 10 years. Mr. McNulty worked for Laborer's Local 223 in Dorchester for many years, retiring 3 years ago. In his free time, he enjoyed walking and riding his bike and spending time with his wife and dog.

He was the husband of 38 years of Margaret (Spillane) McNulty of Stoughton. He was the brother of Bridget Connolly of Whitinsville and the late Joseph McNulty and is also survived by his beloved dog Pogo.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte 27) Stoughton, on Monday, October 28, at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-6 PM. Burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in his memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Ave #6, Waltham, MA 02451-1115.
