Matthew J. Adams died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, on his 37th birthday, after being stricken ill at his home in Halifax. Born in Stoughton, he was raised and educated in Halifax and was a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston. He was a resident of Stoughton for many years. Mr. Adams worked as a self- employed handyman and auto mechanic in the area for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Matthew was the son of Karen A. (Crean) Adams of Stoughton and her longtime companion Glenn Harris of Raynham and the late James S. Adams. He was the father of Giana Adams of Halifax. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, March 7 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 4-7 PM. Donations in Matt's memory may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 600 Technology Center Dr., Stoughton, MA 02072.
