Mary E. VanBuskirk

Mary E. (Corbett) VanBuskirk, 79, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at her home, under the care of Old Colony Hospice, after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Frank R. VanBuskirk. Born in Stoughton, she was educated at St. Mary's School and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1951. Mrs. VanBuskirk was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed doing crafts, traveling to Foxwoods, shopping and spending time with her family.

She was the mother of Ryan K. VanBuskirk of Stoughton and the late Rowan F. VanBuskirk. She was the sister of Sharon M. Weston of Stoughton and the late James Corbett, Richard Corbett, Nancy Gonsalves and George Corbett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in Mary's Memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368
