Mary L. (Colangelo) Tray, 89, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, December 31, 2016. She was the wife of Thomas A. Tray, Sr. Daughter of the late Harry and Gioviannia Colangelo, she was born in Boston and raised in East Boston. Mrs. Tray was a resident of Stoughton since 1950. She was a stock clerk at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Stoughton for 22 years before retiring at age 62. She was an avid Bingo player.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her sons, Thomas A. Tray, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Williamsburg, VA and Paul Tray and his wife Gail of Brockton. She was the grandmother of Nathaniel Davenport and David Tray and the great-grandmother of Ethan and Jarrod Davenport. She was the sister of the late Emilio "Skee" Scarpone, Josephine Marino, Ralph and Armando Colangelo and her twin brother, Sammy Colangelo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, January 5 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
