Mary E. (Breen) Silvestrone, 81, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Easton on Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was the wife of the late Angelo D. Silvestrone. Daughter of the late Patrick and Katherine (Noonan) Breen, she was born in Winchester and raised in Brookline. Mary was a graduate of Brookline High School. She resided in Stoughton for 32 years after living in Newton for 20 years. Mary was a day care cook at Brookline Infant Toddler Center for 20 years before retiring at age 76.
Mary was the mother of Nicholas A. Silvestrone and his wife Kelly of Freedom, NH, Joseph L. Silvestrone and his wife Michelle of Gouldsboro, ME, Lisa A. Colling and her husband Mark of Stoughton and the late Patrick M. Silvestrone. She was the grandmother of Jessica Silvestrone, Nicky Silvestrone, Stephanie Colling and Stephen Colling. She was the sister of Margaret Casey of Brookline, Larry Breen of Walpole, Helen Bennett of Plymouth and the late Daniel, Robert and Jackie Breen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Tuesday, January 2 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
