Mary P. Pat Roose

Mary P. "Pat" (Murphy) Roose, 84, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on Sunday, April 26, 2015 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Paul V. Roose. Born in Boston, she was raised in Roxbury and graduated from St. Patrick's School. Pat was a resident of Stoughton since 1960. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Roose is survived by her children, Stephen P. Roose and his wife Brenda of Rochester and Evelyn R. "Lyn" Jenney and her husband Ted of S. Easton. She was the loving grandmother of Allison Roose, Jason Roose, Megan Jenney and Clare Jenney. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, April 30 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-7 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to St. Patrick's Parish, 10 Magazine St., Roxbury, MA 02119.
