Mary Rodrigues

Mary (Fernandes) Rodrigues, 88, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died on Wednesday, December 23 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in North Easton, she was educated in Portugal and resided in Stoughton for over 50 years. Mrs. Rodrigues was a stitcher at Draper Bros. in Stoughton for 24 years before retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Portuguese National Club since 1940.
Mrs. Rodrigues is survived by her children, Eugene T. Pombo, Jr. and Anita M. Vieira and her husband Joe all of Stoughton, as well as her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jerick and Jolene Vieira. She was the sister of Lourdes Sousa of Stoughton and the late Ligia Gonsalves and Frank Correia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Saturday, December 26 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be prior from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton from 9-10 AM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
