Mary L. (Daboval) McLaughlin, 79, died Saturday, June 10, at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, she was raised in South Boston and a graduate of South Boston Schools. Mrs. McLaughlin was a resident of Randolph since 1954. She worked as a Supervisor for Codman & Shurtleff in Randolph for over 20 years, retiring in 1985. After her retirement, she worked at Ann's Fabrics in Canton for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing. She was also active at the VFW in Randolph.
She is survived by her children, Maureen A. Spearin and her husband Charles and Charles R. McLaughlin and his wife Janice all of Stoughton and Robert E. McLaughlin and his longtime girlfriend and companion Kyle Titus of Marshfield. She was the sister of Charles Federico and Frances Fromm both of Quincy, David Federico of ME, Anne Nancy McManus of TX, Veronica Federico of Reading, Arlene Stanton and Mary Federico both of South Boston and Patricia Harvey of Abington. She was the grandmother of Debra Spearin, Kelly Denly and Robert, Daniel and Brian McLaughlin and is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, June 13 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Donations in Mary's name may be made to American Cancer Society, 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
