Mary E. McGrath

Mary E. "Mel" McGrath, 49, died unexpectedly at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC on Saturday, April 23. She was the wife of Mary Ann Wolski of Greer, SC. Daughter of the late Bernard K. and Ellen L. (Hinds) McGrath, she was born in Milton, raised in Avon and graduated from Avon High School, Class of 1979. She was a resident of Nelson, NH for the past 5 years. In her free time she enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, boating and spending time by Granite Lake.
In addition to Mary Ann, Mel is survived by her brothers, Peter M. McGrath of Attleboro and Patrick K. McGrath and his wife Catherine of East Bridgewater. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, April 28 at 7:30 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7:30 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mel's memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
