Mary Eileen (Doyle) Mahoney

Mary Eileen (Doyle) Mahoney, 98, a resident of Holbrook, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was the wife of the late James A. Mahoney. Daughter of the late George B. and Mary C. (Craffey) Doyle, she was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. Mary was a resident of Stoughton for over 20 years before moving to Holbrook 13 years ago. She was a billing clerk for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health in Boston for many years before retiring 24 years ago. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her children, Audrey E. Duross and her husband David of Stoughton, Carol A. Noseworthy of Holbrook and Francis J. Mahoney and his wife Susan of Shelton, CT. She was the sister of the late Rita O'Donnell, Catherine Doyle, Leo Doyle and Dorothea Burns. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, June 26 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
