Mary (Tonaszuck) Littera, 99, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at her home, three weeks short of her 100th birthday. She was the wife of the late Julius Littera. Born and raised in the North End of Boston, she was a graduate of Boston Schools. Mrs. Littera was a resident of Stoughton since 1974. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker to her children. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling to the casinos, spending winters in Florida, cooking, dining out and going to lunch with the girls.
She is survived by her three children; Theresa Monroe and her husband Bruce of ME, Delia Littera and Robert Littera, both of Stoughton. She was the sister of Jenny Linskey of Medway and was predeceased by 3 brothers. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, Boston.
