Mary M. (Savini) LaPorte

Mary M. (Savini) LaPorte, 80, a resident of Onset, died peacefully at Tobey Hospital in Wareham on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. She was the wife of Felix L. LaPorte for 58 years. Daughter of the late Almando S. and Estella V. (Cotter) Savini, she was born and raised in Stoughton, where she was a lifelong resident until moving to Onset 17 years ago. Mary was a graduate of St. Mary's School in Stoughton and Archbishop Williams High School, Class of 1953. She was a homemaker whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her children, Taryn J. Reilly and her husband Mark of Raynham, Keith E. LaPorte and his wife Shari of Brooklyn Park, MN, Kraig E. LaPorte and his wife Mary K. of Guilford, VT and Kirk E. LaPorte and his wife Kristin of Plainville. She was the grandmother of Shane and Julianne Reilly and Rhianna, Charles, Jack, Grace, Sarah, Will, Jennifer and Justin LaPorte.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Monday, September 19 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours private. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Catholic TV, PO Box 9196, Watertown, MA 02471.
