Mary E. (Cordaro) Fenton, 72, died Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Lee J. Fenton, Sr. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Worcester and Boston. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Fenton was a homemaker. She was a loving and devoted caretaker to her husband throughout several years of failing health. Prior to that, she enjoyed traveling with her husband. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, shopping and, above all, spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Mrs. Fenton is survived by her children, Lee J. Fenton, Jr. of Attleboro, James J. Fenton of Brockton, Michael D. Fenton and Christine M. King both of Stoughton. She was the sister of John "Jack" Cordaro of Leicester, Joseph Cordaro and Angelina Fournier both of Worcester and the late Emily Cordaro and Catherine Crawford. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, August 24, at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N.
