Mary I. (Silva) Fahey

Mary I. (Silva) Fahey, 78, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 10, 2018. She was the wife of the late John M. Fahey, Sr. Born and raised in Stoughton, she attended Stoughton Schools. She was a dedicated homemaker. In her free time, Mary enjoyed bowling, vacationing in Maine and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed driving with her husband in his oil truck and assisting him with his family business, Fahey Oil.

Mrs. Fahey is survived by her three sons: John M. Fahey, Jr. and his wife Janet of Stoughton, Michael S. Fahey of NH and Kevin B. Fahey and his wife Jessica of ME. She was the sister of Albert V. Silva and his wife Kathy of Stoughton and the late Manny Silva and his wife Virginia, Joe Silva, Alfred Silva, Johnny & Connie Silva and Frankie & Peggy Silva. She was the sister in law of the late Thomas & Laurette Fahey, John & Rose Carroll and Patricia Colleran. She is also survived by her in-laws, Ludy Silva of CT and Myles Colleran of Readville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Tuesday, March 27 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday, March 26 from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
